Amanda
Pharmacist and Pharmacy Co-Owner
Amanda registered as a Pharmacist in 1989, but has been involved with the Bishopdale Pharmacy team for over 40 years, and co-owner since 2009. Amanda has worked in NZ, Australia and the UK.
Amanda is the Chair of the Bishopdale Business Association.
She is also one of our two photography experts on the team.

Maria has been co-owner of Unichem Bishopdale Pharmacy since 2009.
She first started at Unichem Bishopdale as a summer student in her second year at Pharmacy school in 1997, then went on to complete her Intern Training here in 1999. In 2004 Maria left to travel overseas, but returned to Bishopdale Pharmacy in 2009.
Maria has a strong interest in Mental Health and how to develop better services and care in this area.
She is currently the Chair of the Canterbury Community Pharmacy Group, and as part of this role is a member of the National Community Pharmacy Leaders Forum.
Anna
Pharmacist and Pharmacy Co-owner
Anna completed her Intern training at Bishopdale Pharmacy, worked as a Pharmacist here, then travelled overseas. Shortly after she returned to NZ she rejoined the BIshopdale team as Dispensary Manager, and became co-owner in 2016.
Anna has been closely involved in initiating the wide range of services offered at Unichem Bishopdale.
Stu
Pharmacist - Dispensary Manager
Stuart qualified as a Pharmacist in 2009. He completed his intern training at Bishopdale Pharmacy.
Stu is our preceptor for our Intern Pharmacists and has now successfully overseen 8 Intern Pharmacists complete their training and become fully qualified Pharmacists.
Stuart is also involved in developing and delivering the Education Programme that is run through Pegasus Health for General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Community Pharmacists.
Erica
Pharmacist
Erica qualified as a pharmacist in 2015. She completed her Intern training at Bishopdale Pharmacy.
Erica is the lead Pharmacist for our blister pack/compliance pack service.
Aleisha
Pharmacist
Aleisha qualified as a Pharmacist in 2016. She completed her Intern Training at Bishopdale Pharmacy at the end of 2016 and was awarded the prize for the Top Intern in NZ for her year.
Aleisha is currently the President of the Canterbury and West Coast Branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of NZ.
Michelle
Pharmacist
Michelle qualfied and registered as a Pharmacist in 2017 after completing her Intern training at BIshopdale Pharmacy.
Michelle oversees Clozapine services at the Pharmacy and also oversees blister pack/compliance packing service we offer.
Outside of Bishopdale Pharmacy, Michelle is the secretary of the Canterbury Young Professionals Group. She also has experience in the dairy farming world but has chosen to swap the farm life for the Pharm life :)
Natalie
Pharmacist
Natalie qualified as a pharmacist in 2009. She joined the BIshopdale Pharmacy team in 2019.
Natalie is involved in developing and delivering the Education Programme that is run through Pegasus Health for General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Community Pharmacists.
Georgia
Intern Pharmacist
Georgia is our Intern Pharmacist for 2021. She has studied Pharmacy for four years at the University of Otago and now has her internship year to complete before registering as a Pharmacist.
She has a wealth of knowledge to answer questions about your health and medicines.
